Reservation T & C's
Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Boma Simba Lodge. We want to make sure that your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Before making a booking with us, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
Definitions and interpretation
- We/Us/Our: The Boma Simba Lodge Company.
- You/Guest: The person named in the booking confirmation and all other members of the booking party.
- Properties: Refers to all A-Frame Cabins and the Campgrounds.
Booking and payments
- Making a booking through our website confirms your contract with us.
- A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required for bookings with a check-in date over 30 weeks away.
- Full payment is required for bookings with a check-in date less than 7 days away.
- The full balance is due 2 weeks before your arrival.
- Christmas, New Year, and Easter bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.
- Bookings are non-transferable to another person.
- If we do not receive payment after 3 days of the balance due date, we may cancel your booking.
Children
- Please take special care when children are around animals, fire, equipment, and outdoors.
Special requests
- Please let us know of any special requests at the time of booking or as early as possible before your stay.
- We will try to meet your individual needs, but we cannot guarantee this.
Group bookings
- A-Frame Cabins may be booked together for larger family gatherings, subject to availability and confirmation.
- We are unable to take bookings for stag parties, hen parties, or student groups unless by prior arrangement.
- Parties, events, or gatherings may not take place at the property without prior consent.
The A-Frame Cabins’ services
- All A-Frame Cabins are en-suite.
- Multiple socket points are located throughout, with Wi-Fi, bed linen, duvets, and towels provided.
- Complimentary tea and coffee will be provided.
Force Majeure
- If we cancel your booking in advance due to circumstances beyond our control, you will be refunded the full amount of the booking.
- If we terminate your holiday early for the above reasons, you will be refunded part of the booking fee based on the time remaining of the booking.
Cancellation policy
- All bookings within 14 days to arrival are non-refundable on cancellation.
- We will try to accommodate amendments to your booking and minimise the cost of cancellations.
- We have no obligation to refund if the change is within the 14 day to arrival period.
- Boma Simba Lodge is not liable for the refund of any monies for cancellations not initiated by themselves that are not covered by any insurance policy.
- Boma Simba Lodge reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking arrangements.
Your responsibilities
- Check-out time is 10:00am.
- You are responsible for the property and are asked to take all reasonable care of its furniture, pictures, fittings, and effects.
- Any breakages or damage (accidental or otherwise) must be reported immediately.
- You are not to undertake any unscheduled photoshoots.
- You are responsible for taking note of all government policies regarding travel restrictions due to public health measures (such as Covid-19 restrictions).
Our responsibilities
- We are not responsible for anything that adversely affects your holiday due to events outside of our control.
- Boma Simba Lodge accepts no responsibility for any damage, injury, or illness caused by use of the properties and any amenities.
- Boma Simba Lodge accepts no liability for any accident, injury, loss, or damage sustained by any resident, their family, visitors, vehicles, or personal effects.
Your safety
- Please be alert and vigilant to all potential risks.
- Although every care is taken in managing the various facilities across the estate, we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage from any misadventure associated with your stay.
- Please keep to the marked boundaries when visiting Boma Simba Lodge.
